[C320-list] exhaust blockage

An exhaust riser problem would probably be accompanied by engine running hotter than normal. Mine ran fine to about 1500 then ran hotter than normal at 1700. At the dock, in neutral, engine ran fine up to 3000, temp normal.   Backpressure issue under load. Concur with Jeff and Chris, check all possible explanations before spending $.
