[C320-list] Visiting Fl. Keys - any tips?

Apart from first two nights in Miami Beach, which we hve booked, it will be ‘on the hoof’ depending how far we get. Genral plan is to  reserve  next night’s accommodation  the previous evening. We’d like to get at least as far as Islamadora,  maybe limit ourselves to 1.5 hrs driving per day to allow time to actually experience the place, but if we find somewhere we like we might just stay there for the entire duration!

Not going for silly budget either!  in other words looking for somehwre ein the $200 per night range rather than $50 or $800!! (I still have much work to pay for on my own boat, I cant go wasting it on vacation!)
