Hi
On Scallywag there is a fuel tap at the rear just as the fuel line leaves the tank rather than by the Racor filter

This was great timing. I was just about to change my fuel filters today
and noticed that there's no fuel shut-off valve! I expected to see one
in the fuel line aft of the Racor Fuel/Water Separator. Since I topped
off the tank during winterizing, I expect it's going to be a messy job
changing filters. I do plan on installing a shutoff valve in the process.

There is a ring with little raised squares around it at the top of the filter housing, place a screwdriver against one and tap to loosen or tighten, obviosly just tap it, don't go nuts and make sure you tap in the correct direction (looking down on it tap towards the back of the boat to loosen).Bruce Hunter Nauti Time #719.
