I thought hard about replacing the stock OEM batteries after one of mine ruptured. Quite a mess that I had to clean up with a lot of baking soda.
Instead, I converted over to 4 - 6V Trojan T105+ golf cart batteries. I have been very happy with their performance. A bit more Ah capacity (500Ah @ 100 hour rate) and very reliable deep cycle construction. I also replaced my OEM Charles 30A charger with a Sterling Pro 40A charger at the same time. Also installed a Bimini mounted removable 125W Solbian flexible solar panel.
This summer I determined that this set up allows us to stay at anchor for easily a week in sunny weather with only 1 refrigerator on. If we have both the front loading and the top loading refer on, I can get about 4 days without engine charging. This is with stereo and TV use with all LED lighting.
There are photos of my installation in the Owners Photos section of the C320IA website.
I recommend upgrading to golf cart batteries for a more robust system.

One that stuck out was Warren and others posted in 2011 identifying the Exide COM-4D-P. Were those of you that have these batteries happy with the selection? Are there others to consider?
