[C320-list] Stereo

Right now we just have a large portable but I want something better. When I replaced the VHF last year I noticed there wasn't much room behind the panel, I guess I have to recheck it and make some measurements. I'm also thinking about maybe a "mechless" (no CD) which should require a lot less space but if a CD capable stereo would fit I'd go with that.

You don't have a stereo? OMG. 

I had one installed when I bought the boat. It accepts an iPad/iPod so we don't need CDs. It is mounted in my panel next to my solar regulator, VHF radio, furnace control, range regulator, etc. I keep the remote there attached with Velcro so I no where it is and remove it easily. I have cockpit speakers under the hanging seats, and salon speakers.

When I added solar I had to remove this panel and cut out a spot for the regulator, creatively reconfiguring the existing holes into the new layout. You will need to do this too if you are adding the stereo.
