[C320-list] San Diego Regatta

With a little less than one month to go for the 8/1/2016 registration
deadline, we so far have 7 boats (Midnight Run, Sweet Tea, Ziphora,
WindWalker II, Wayne's World, Natiki, and Out of the Blue) committed to
attending the Catalina 320 International Association Annual Regatta in San
Diego from 9/9/2016-9/11/2016.  While we anticipate several more boats to
sign-up this month, what makes the Regatta so special is having additional
crew attending, such as you, even if not bringing your boat!

 

Having attended a previous Regatta hosted by Dick Walker, I can tell you
that Dick puts on a great event, an event that Linda and I are both so
looking forward to attending once again.    Needless to say, Sea Shadow,
berthed on the Chesapeake Bay, sadly will not be in attendance once again
but that does not in any way stop the Best Mate and me from making the trek
west.  We always come back from these events with so many new ideas for
improving our C320, having added new friends with such a common interest,
and such wonderful memories of sailing in new places that otherwise would
most likely be off limits for us.

 

So, with that said, we hope to see many more of you sign-up in the next 27
days to join us in beautiful San Diego for what will truly be a spectacular
weekend of sailing and camaraderie.
