Thanks for the comments. Did the sails fit properly? Were the Catalina factory specs. for dimensions of the main on target?

I am not in a hurry to buy a new main, so your suggestion to wait a bit is a good one.

I bought a new jib and main from bacons at the boat show last October. They
beat all the other competitors prices and im satisfied with the quality.
They're not North sails but I don't race this boat. If you can hold off
until the boat show, you can get some pretty good discounts.
