[C320-list] Rebedding leaky chain plate

Our boat hull 973 is glassed in that area. In my opinion you should remove the entire "assembly" especially if you're seeing rust in the cabin. That means that the hole in the deck is holding water. You'll need to drop the chain plate to see how much rust there is an to do that you have to remove the strut. Mark all threads before removing. As Warren suggested it may be prudent not to seal the chain plate to the headliner when reassembling. You'll see why when you get it apart.
