[C320-list] Do you have to remove rudder to remove prop-shaft?

On #972 my shaft came out without pulling the rudder however my strut was
slight bent. I'm really happy with using the gortex packing Jeff recommends
it is virtually drip-less but I did need to tighten it after about 24
months when it started dripping. After tightening, I'm drip-less again!
