[C320-list] Looking for C320 MK II Winter Cover or Advice

I purchased a cover from Kinder Industries in Rhode Island. I told them that I had a stock '97 320 with Dingy davits and sent them some pictures. the cover cost around $2k at the time, about 6 years ago. I bought it after paying $700 to get shrink wrapped the year before (Eastern Shore Chesapeake prices). The cover fit darn Near perfect! I have not seen any degradation and has been saving me money after the third year. Of course, I have to put it on and take it off... With a 4 hour round trip in the fall and spring, but I like to make sure everything is buttoned up correctly.
One thing to keep in mind is that you want to be smart as to when to put the cover on and take it off. I like to be one of the last boats hauled so I'm stacked at the front of the yard for spring splash without delay. Last year, do to circumstances beyond my control, I was installing the cover in a pretty substantial snow storm. Mildly dangerous walking around the deck 12 foot up on slippery snow! And of course the material is very stiff to handle when freezing cold, so it's a little more work than a warm fall afternoon.
I also have access to a large empty floor where I work so that I can stretch it out and make sure it is dry and clean before folding for storage. I leave it in the bag provided by the manufacturer at work, so don't forget about clean/dry off season storage.
Overall, having a cover is work, but saves money in the long run in my opinion.

I also purchased a custom cover from The Canvas Store in Huntington, New
York.  I purchased mine during the summer because there was a good discount
for off season. It was made with Top Gun fabric. I believe it was under $2k
at the time.  I am not sure how old it is now but my wife guessed it to be
7- 10 years old. My boat is located on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. I
haven't seen any degradation in the fabric and don't expect to for a long
time.

Not to dispute with Mr. Bousum, but custom covers for a 320 are available
for 2k- 3k.  We completed our 3rd winter ( we're talking long harsh
Wisconsin brutality) with a Top Gun fabric from The Canvas Store in
Huntington, New York.  I believe it will last many more winters.  Totally
pleased.  It has stood up well and fits perfectly.  Workmanship is
excellent.  My boat show price was around $2400.  Shipshape in Duluth, MN
makes a beautiful high quality cover for the 320 for mid 2k range.  My $0.02
worth.

about 10 years and cost 4000 to 5000 so it looks like a push to me. I shrink
wrap,  don't have the hassle to put it up and store it.

February of each year due to our limited use of our boat during those times.
