Yuck. You need the 16 added to the end of that link below. It got line
wrapped!

Or you can just go here... http://tinyurl.com/thruhull

I assume that the bottom of your boat is nice and clean around the
thru-hull, right? Otherwise, seabung won't seal very well in my opinion. I
think it'll also make it a more difficult to disassemble and replace the
valve with that bung having the big loop on the end (unless that loop will
easily fit through the ball valve hole).

If you have this valve:

16

Then once you plug the bottom using the built in plug, you'll unscrew the
four screws in the top of the valve, then the top two sections of the valve
will come apart. The top section is the tailpiece where the hose connects,
the middle section is the one containing the handle and the ball valve.

You'll pop a new middle section and top section in place with the new
gaskets you got from the new one and install the 4 screws. Then go on deck
and pull the string tied to the plug to remove it and you're done.

I can find this part and the Seabung at Fisheries Supply in Seattle with
two-day shipping and decent prices. I can't find either one at Catalina
Direct.

But can anyone confirm that the appropriate size is 3/4"? They seem to have
a range of sizes. This is for the sink drain in the head.
