[C320-list] Heater hose let go

Well...I guess after 19 years of service, the short piece of black heater
hose between the heater and the whale fittings gave and emptied my forward
holding tank into the bilge beneath the galley sink while we were having
dinner on a buddy boat last night.

I'm getting ready to winterize the boat soon, but would like to fix this
before then.  I guess since you really shouldn't be drinking from the hot
water tap, I can't think of a reason to upgrade this connection and so I
will just replace with a small length of 3/4" hose.   Can anyone think of a
reason not to use the heater hose?
