[C320-list] How fast have you sailed

Ted,

Multiply knots by 1.15 to get MPH. 7.4 knots is equal to 8.51 MPH. My top speed thus far is 7.5 knots in 15 knots of true wind speed. According to the polar diagram the Catalina 320 can go 8.5 knots in 20 knots of true wind speed sailing 135 degrees off the wind.

I had no idea the boat could sail that fast. We headed up on the puffs, then fell off to the beam reach and the boat flattened out and that's when we got the good speed. Anyone get their 320 over 10mph?
