I was listening to Clark Howard on the radio one evening and he was talking about insurance in general. He said that insurance companies are the most uncaring company for maintaining repeat customers. He recommends that at least every two years you get a quote from another organization. If you stay with the same company long enough they will start gouge you every year until you finally get another quote and move to another company.

Shortly after hearing this I got my insurance bill for my office building and it had increased 75% over a three-year period. We had had no claims and there had been no changes in the building. I called my agent and he got us a quote back down to our original price with the same coverage and deductible. We just had to change companies. It seems the insurance companies do not appreciate any kind of loyalty so you should not be loyal to them.
