Few years ago I had a wooden companionway stair split - I'm not a petite
guy. I contacted Catalina about a replacement. They required a photo and the
VIN. Got a new one in a  couple of weeks that was a perfect fit replacement.
Two caveats: it's premium price, and the material came unfinished.
