The belt was upgraded to a V-belt that I was able to get from Napa Auto Parts.

Allan, did you need to switch pulleys and belts with an alternator that big? My recollection is that this was a consideration when I upgraded my alternator. I also added an external regulator that can be programmed with different charge profiles for AGM, gel, or lead-acid.
