I’ve been researching my dream set up for about a year.   The decisions you
are trying to make are highly dependent on how you intend to use your boat.
  AGMs may or may not be a good investment for you, and I'm pretty
confident that if you like to anchor out a lot and do upgrade to AGMs and
don't upgrade the alternator you could  slowly destroy a very expensive
