[C320-list] Perkins M30 Raw Water Pump

Hi Guys,
I have recently purchased a 1994 Catalina 320 that has the Perkins 30 motor
in it.  The raw water pump is leaking and i have purchased the rebuild kit
and a new water pump Model Ancor ST123 that is made in Italy from
Parts4Engines.  Before I dive into replacing the water pump I have a
question.  To remove the pump, is it simply a matter of removing the 4
screw/bolts then unscrewing the shaft from whatever it screws into to?
When installing the new pump, it has threads on the shaft and it appears
that the housing can be turned until the shaft is tight then insert the
screws/bolts.
Any tips or other procedures welcome, hopefully someone has done this
before and can provide confirmation or the proper procedure.
