Tom,
It’s not your impeller. Take out the water pump, it’s fairly easy to do and take it to a marine machine shop to have it rebuilt. Save the impeller and put it back in. I did this two yearS ago and it only cost ~ $100. When you bring it to the shop. When they leak they are telling you they need a rebuild or replacement. A new one cost $500. Mine has worked great again for two seasons so far.
