Just had the valve and tank filled. Went to install the tank and the valve is now a larger size. Is this a new propane tank code or did the installer just not have the same size that was on the tank ?

The issue on my boat is the thruhull is installed on a downward slope and traps water just inside it. Not sure I want to reposition the thruhull but I might one day. I blow out the hose when I think of it.

In my case, I was anxious to get out of the "hole" and just used a bit of line to tie to the hose and pull it up so it would drain. It's been that way now for some years.
