[C320-list] Size of Stuffing tube nut?

On my Catalina 28 M-320 with 1” shaft the packing gland and nut are both 2” (referenced as a for/instance because their may be variation). I’ve had good luck with offset hex adjustable wrenches.
Rigid makes good ones but I use the Ebay Chinese version. They work well and are adjustable from 1 5/8” to 2 5/8” which makes them workable on most boats.
The wrench looks like an offset pipe wrench but the jaw faces are smooth so they don’t mung up the surfaces. The handle is 9” to 10” long so they have reasonable leverage. As I recall they were slightly less than $20 each.
Best regards,
Ray Taylor
