[C320-list] Size of Stuffing tube nut?

These are pretty nice wrenches for that purpose... I have a suspicion that the lock nut and the stuffing nut are not exactly the same size on my hull #809.
Check out York Design and Fabrication.

I'd bet they'll package up a pair exactly the sizes you need once you determine that. What's nice about stuffing box wrenches vs adjustables is that they are properly offset and flat so that you can squeeze them to loosen the nuts and reverse one of the wrenches and squeeze them to retighten. They're short enough to not get in the way and no fussing with getting them adjusted to the right nut sizes. They'll store nicely under the little padded seat next to the aft locker for quick access.

Thanks all for the input.
Decided to go with Ray's path. I found offset Hex Adjustable Wrenches on Ebay for $20. (Ordered 2.) This will "supposedly" allow me to use it from 1-1/4 " to 2-5/8" with thin smooth jaws. I can also use it for other tasks. Hitch nuts etc....
I don't like to buy cheap tools but if I have any issues with it I will pass it on. Should be here in 7-10 days. Thanks, Scott Westwood scottwestwood at bellsouth.net H (919)-362-8538 C (919)-618-7185

Oh yeah, and they are marked "Fore" and "Aft" because the nuts are different sizes.
Did I tell you to measure??? LoL
