[C320-list] Racing handicap

Those PHRF ratings seem high. (More power to you ...) New England has the
320 at 153 for the standard keel and 162 for the wing keel.

If I were a racer, I think I would love to have a 180 rating. So far on my
new-to-me 320, this is one fast boat. Other boats in the 180 range that I
know of are the Bristol 29.9, C&C 27 and Cal 30. I don't think there's any
comparison.

On the Gulf of Mexico yesterday, I overtook and then ran away from a Hunter
420 in 10 knots of wind. And I don't even have a feel for the boat yet.

You folks know better than me, but the 320 seems very sensitive to sail
adjustment. A little bit of sail tinkering can really make it go. That's an
eye-opener to me, coming from a CCA-style Bristol 30. Tinkering didn't seem
to do much to make it go faster.

My PHrf (occasional racer) with stackpack and other cruising adjustments is
174,, also in the Chesapeake area.

If anyone races their C320 what is your rating?
