[C320-list] Replacement sea water pump

All,

The sea water pump on my 3GM30F Yanmar has been leaking for a while. I first
determined that the outgoing hose was leaking and I replaced it. That
reduced the leak considerably but the sea water pump is also leaking from
the middle of the shaft. The part number of the Johnson Pump is 10-24509-01.
When I entered that for a search on PumpVendor.com, it came back with Yanmar
128397-42500. I am guessing that is a replacement. From the parts list for
this number the parts that I think would have an effect on leakage from the
middle there is a "lip seal" and an O-Ring Slinger. Has anyone rebuilt the
sea water pump or have any recent experiences with replacing the original
pump?
