[C320-list] Forward lifeline gate?

I have the same set-up/problem. Short pier and I can't back in due to depth issues. Don't want to Jam the rudder on very low tides.

I installed shackles forward as a temporary measure. They work fine, but the entire lifelines droop.

I'm switching to Amsteel Blue lifelines soon and will work up a permanent solution. 

It can be a little tricky getting off and on, but a wide berth gives me some leeway. put a couple of fenders near the bow.
