[C320-list] KM2P SAE 30 OIL level

I believe the key reason for having the right tranny oil level, not too high or too low, is that inside the tranny case is a slinger that keeps the gears bathed in oil. If the oil is at a different level than where the line shows on the dipstick, the slinger doesn’t work properly. I know I’ve read this in the past, maybe on a different transmission for one of my earlier Catalinas, but if I was a half an inch above the line, I would suck out the oversupply and try to get it back to where the line is. In a tranny, too much can actually be as detrimental as not enough.
