Dave,

1994 #138 here.  I replaced my high temp switch 2 years ago.

I used this one:

My original was the 3 terminals, where only 2 where used.  One of the
terminals was a ground wire that ran to the engine block.

The replacement I used, the body of the switch grounds into the the base it
screws into, so you can remove the ground to engine wire.

When I did my search, if I remember correct, I saw switches that closed at
170, 180, and 200.  My Perkins tends to run normal right at 183F.  So I
didn't want false positives, so I went with 200, which is the switch in the
link.
