Since you were a Columbia member, and sailed out of Monroe, you might find
this of interest.  The water level is becoming very serious concern.  When
seiches happen, CYC is getting water over the dock.  Power is being
intermittently cut off.  Water level is just 6~8 inches from the top of the
dock.  Water level is nearing (I'd guess 6-8 inches) from cresting the
harbor wall.  And the level has crested the flat level of the inner harbor
break wall.  It's becoming very challenging to board boats at CYC, and the
are considering advising people to not even use the dock should is rise any
more.
