I just did a total install in same location and have photos of the whole project if needed.

Subject: [C320-list] A/C system Seacock, Pump & Filter

Hi all,

I have a guy coming tomorrow to look at installing a new intake seacock for
our new A/C system. I'm installing the A/C in the port locker under the
breadbox like a lot of you, but thinking about installing the thru-hull in
the aft area near where the fridge is located but needs to be below the
water line and out of the way of access into the aft compartment at the foot
of the aft bunk.

Questions:

- Where did you install yours?

- Where did you install the filter and pump? (if you are using a filter)

- Any self-priming issues with your placement?

Also, I'm considering replacing my 3/4" 93 series engine intake thruhull
with a 1" 90 degree version. Main reason is that the handle is more rugged
and with the intake growth I sometimes get, this will help keep sufficient
water flow towards the end of the season. With the short straight hose
connection now, I could move my winterizing port to this spot and it'll be
helpful next time I need to blow out a clog.

Considering this valve: Forespar Mfg# 931154

I'd likely upgrade to a Groco ARG755 or ARG750 strainer if I can find one
that'll fit. Has anyone upgraded their strainer to a top basket model?

Thanks!
