[C320-list] Leak appearing under holding tank STATUS REPORT

After speaking with a Catalina Dealer and local yard here are my next steps:
1)  Continue efforts to determine with 100% certainty the location of the salt water incursion.  This includes using the blue chalk they found in a carpenter's line-marking tool.  Then use a better cable scope to view the chalked area..
2)  Getting a diver to clean and inspect the hull for leaks.  They use food coloring to die the water to facilitate seeing a "current" going to the area of the leak.
3)  If the diver finds the hole he will do a temporary repair with waterproof epoxy-putty.
I like this approach because it could definitively locate and fix the leak on the outside of the hull while the boat is still in the water so we will know if it fixes the leak. It will also mark the definite area on the hull for permanent repair once the boat is pulled in the offseason.

Given the volume of water described, (bilge running every 20 minutes for several hours), I don't think this is a 'deck leak', unless you are in  pouring rain ?

If it's definitely salt water, and you ruled out the stuffing gland, the only things I can think of aft would be rudder tube (unlikely unless you grounded or did some other damage) or thru hulls and hoses for raw water engine or a/c intake. There are also the strainers associated with those.

If it might be fresh water, the other possibility is the swim platform shower.

Possibly a deck leak?  You said the moisture was below the lowest holding tank hose connection. That’s probably the pump out hose. Possibly you have a leak at the pump out fitting on deck with water running down the hose.
