Joe,

When I look closely at the CatalinaDirect kit (which I am getting ready to order as well), I believe the lifeline gate sections have the pelican hook at one end and a jaw toggle at the other end. I think you could technically arrange those with the pelican hook at the front or the back.

I have mine aft like you and plan to keep them that way. I think the CatalinaDirect kit will facilitate this unless I’m missing something.
