I used West Marine riggers too (on two different boats) and was very satisfied.  If you are willing to give them exact measurements they will do whatever you want.  I used Johnson pelicans and stanchion fittings  and created a number of "gates".  Neil Kornblatt, Harmony 2004 #973

We replaced lifelines on Adelante last year, using the riggers at West Marine. I removed the old lifelines and took them into the West Marine rigging shop in Newport Beach. They fabricated a new set that installed without problem, and charged about $600. They offer both coated and uncoated lines.
