We replaced our lifelines with the kit including the pelican hooks from Catalina Direct 3 years ago. It's a very straightforward project and one that can be completed in a couple of hours, soup to nuts. My one caution to you is that your hands will be exhausted from using the hand-crimper that comes with the kit at the end. Seriously. Those last few crimpings will be painful. If your yard has any more robust options, use them!

> This kit will retrofit the old style rear pelican hooks and provides additional pieces of hardware that will move the pelican hooks to the stanchion right by the cabin. This gives the added benefit of the lifelines on the forward section of the boat always remaining tight even when the rear section is detached.
