Graeme-
Mine is older than yours, but seems fine. The corrosion may be related to leakage around the propane tank "pan". This pan (that the tank sits in) is only held in with 4 screws. The seal under the pan was a big source of water getting in my boat when we first bought it. It was a pretty easy job to redo the seal. I recall that I had to temporarily disconnect the pan water drain line, but I did not need to disconnect the propane line in order to be able to lift the pan up enough to clean and reseal.

It still runs actually but has corroded away in its rather exposed position underneath the gas locker and lost all the refrigerant!
It’s really not a great location ( I think) and I’m thinking of siting the replacement elsewhere. Not least because the installation will be substantially cheaper if I can keep the pipe run under 6ft
Has anyone done this and where did you put it? Were you able to reuse the thermostat and evaporator plate inside the fridge or did you have to replace everything?
Did you do it yourself or use an installer?
All thoughts welcome
