My bilge pump is running from the master switch selection. The stock
bilge pump is underpowered and should not be relied upon to save you from
most emergencies. The stock bilge pump is mainly to deal with nuisance
water as such, the wiring to the battery selector is okay. However, I think
it may be a good idea to install a cheap high water bilge pump wired
directly to the battery. I parallel both of my 4D's per Jeff Hare's
design. It may also be a good I idea to have devices such as a Victron
smart battery protect installed in front of your DC panel for most loads. I
have killed a few battery sets. I am a slow learner. Here is my video
review. https://youtu.be/sABbtLtB_Iw . Next if you want to take a look at
a secondary bilge pump to really bail you out of emergency situations, here
is the design I went with after some bad experiences.
