[C320-list] Stern Shower Leak

I don't think the enclosure is bad, but I believe there had to be a seal beneath the faucet base itself where mounted in the enclosure. Like many other things on my +25 year old boat, I believe the seal has "expired". I plan to dismount the faucet and check it out.  Right now I am planning to use butyl rubber to reseal.
Thanks

Yes, I also had this issue - my cockpit shower enclosure was cracked, and water was dripping through the crack and down the hose. If it is just leaking between the enclosure and the valves, then I imagine butyl tape should do it - I ended up having to replace the enclosure (https://www.ssicustomplastics.com/services/showers-and-washdowns/).

Subject: [C320-list] Stern Shower Leak

Has anyone else had leaks around the cockpit shower faucet base down into the stern compartments?  I have the original style faucets https://www.catalinadirect.com/shop-by-boat/catalina-350/hull-deck/stern/shower-valve-for-cockpit-shower-lt-2004/  and it appears to me that water is just getting into the cockpit enclosure and then seeping under the base of the faucet assembly and showing as drips coming down the threaded mounts underneath and the attached hoses. The faucets work fine.  I'm wondering if I just need to unscrew the faucet assembly nuts underneath, raise the faucets and replace a seal (maybe seat it on butyl rubber??)? Thanks for any feedback.
