Those are some dense strip lights you chose!   I was contemplating strip
lights for the salon but upon further inspection this weekend, none of the
fiddles and soffit covers extend down sufficiently to hide a 12mm RGBW
strip like you would do in an under cabinet install.   The ideal
installation would involve removing the ash moldings that covers the wire
chases and building new ones that extend down another inch to hide the
strips.   This idea got quickly moved so far down in the backlog it will
never make it to the in progress column.   But hey...someone with no
projects going at this time definitely needs to hop on this idea and make
it reality.
