[C320-list] Diesel pipe cap

A couple of years ago a ruthless diesel jockey chopped off my cap retaining chain and the cap went over.  The marina gave me something that screwed in but sat proud of the fitting.  I did not investigate first just went ahead and bought a cap/pipe unit from CD.  The cap thread was the same as on my 2000 #765 but the out side diameter was a few thousands of an inch too large so I turned it down in my lathe.  Now seals and fits flush. All the new ones have a different thread and are not compatible.See this product for a replacement assembly. You'll need to replace the deck pipe as well.
