I did work thru the hole in the aft cabin after removing the tilting  drawers with frame.  Good idea to stuff a rag to prevent anything dropped from rolling under the floor toward the bilge. Ken#765 Northern Dream Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Shower sump won’t completely drain Doug, Crosby, Ken *et alii:*Regarding my shower sump/fridge drain issue, I have checked the strainer(it was dirty but cleaning it did not resolve the issue), and have narrowedthings down to either a lack of prime for the pump or a need to clean thepump, or possibly a need to replace the pump.  I'll see if more head in thefridge will lead to priming the pump.  If that doesn't work, I'll try toremove it and clean it.  I may need to go thru the hole for the two drawersin the aft stateroom for access.  If that doesn't work, I may replaceit--maybe there is a self-priming pump that might work better.  I'll letyou all know how it goes.  Any other thoughts would be welcome.Best,Chip Martin(410) 231-0199chiprmartin at gmail.comOn Mon, Sep 21, 2020 at 2:12 PM Doug Treff <doug at treff.us> wrote:> There is a small strainer between the shower drain sump and the pump under> the head sink on my 1996 and it was pretty clogged with hair and other> yummy things.
