I just installed the JMP pump too, we'll have to see how it goes
though.  Big Blue very helpful at time of purchase (2 months ago).  More
like $450 as I recall.  Shipped from Florida, Big Blue in Vancouver BC.
They do say that one should use the JMP impeller for replacement when
necessary.

You may have to change fittings on pump to match hose diameters.  That
can be a challenge if they have been on the old pump for a long time.

Best I found was a pump from JMP Pump (www.jmpusamarine.com). Their model WB081P is an aftermarket version for the Westerbeke 30B and replaces Westerbeke part 48080. I have this new pump on my workbench and planned on installing it on WindSwept this weekend however tropical Storm Beta is headed to the Gulf Coast of Texas where I live. I don't think I want to get into an engine repair project and not be able to move the boat in an emergency situation if I run into a problem. However it looks like exactly the same pump. You can purchase the pump direct from JMP or there is a distributor Big Blue Ocean Marine in Florida. Ryan at Big Blue is extremely helpful and he told me he would beat any price. I found out about Big Blue because I called JMP and they referred me to Ryan as the expert. My local mechanic found this pump for me so I purchased through him. I paid him $404 for the pump and gasket, plus shipping and sales tax

Not the tips of the impeller but the front and back side surfaces of the impeller that rub against the back plate and the inside flat.Don't bother with the replacement seal kit. It really isn't the answer. Just get a new pump. Don't know whether you have the Japanese yanmar or the westerbeke...If it's the antifreeze engine water pump, that doesn't have a rebuild kit that I'm aware of.Just but a new pump, spray the old one with wd40 and store it in a Ziploc bag if you feel you need a backup spare. Unlikely you'll ever use it though...CheersJeff Hare#809
