[C320-list] Chesapeake Havre De Grace

Scott,

North East is a small town on the other side of the head of the Bay from Havre de Grace. IMHO stick with visiting HdG if you only have time for one.

There is a larger town north of Annapolis on the western shore called Baltimore. Long approach up the Patapsco River, great if you want a large urban experience. Very different from the rest of the Bay.

On the Eastern Shore north of Annapolis I recommend Rock Hall. Plenty of Marinas there, we love Haven Harbor, cute little town. We also anchor out there in Swan Creek and dinghy or kayak into town. If you have a kayak I highly recommend exploring up the creek.

Don’t get me started on the Eastern Shore south of Rock Hall, I could go on for hours….

Good luck!

Hitting the highlights as best we can. Wanted to do the Northern part this (first) trip so maybe next year or so we can do the Southern part more thoroughly. That is why we are "racing" north to explore up here some. Then we plan to meet up with our sailing club on the way back. Hope to (at least)make St Micheal and Onancock on the way back south. Our sailing club is leaving NC around May 1 for Chesapeake and they have even less time so they will not likely make it this far north.
