Sarah West Marine has a rigging shop n Seattle. I'm by no means a West Marine fan boy, but in the case of lifeline rigging I was really impressed with the job they did. Go with bare wire, it gives the boat a cleaner look to my eye and it may stave off the inevitable crevice corrosion you get on vinyl covered wire. FWIW Troy Dunn Hull #514
