Hello Peter:

I have been using the Collinite products and they are the best. Highly
rated by Practical Sailor, following their typical comparative, methodical
testing procedure. But I can tell you that my 2000 vintage 320 hull looks
as shiny as it did brand new. I also do the same of the mast every spring
(I take it down and cover it on a rack) The anodized mast looks brand new.
The UV protection and seal in the Collinite paste wax is superior and it
will stay for the entire season. I use Collinite Fleetwax cleaner first to
remove the old wax from the previous season, That product also preps the
surface for a good bonding of the wax to the gel coat After I prep the hull
with the Cleaner I apply Collinite past wax. I have a professional Makita
9227 random orbital polisher with lamb's wool buffer for the wax and a
cleaner buffer for the first stage with the Fleetwax cleaner . I know it
is extra work but the boat looks like it was finished by a professional
detailer. I get flattering comments all the time on the appearance of the
boat.
