[C320-list] Replacing galley faucet

Piece of cake…sorta.

Remove the entire sink base cabinet. Start by removing all the drawers,
there should be a little wooden toggle at the back of each drawer. With
the drawers removed it is much easier to remove the base cabinet. Just
remove the six screws from the frame and pull the whole cabinet out. Now
you have access to the faucet bolts which might at first still seem a
little intimidating (perhaps this is the part you meant). The item that
will set you free here is called a basin wrench and you can buy one for
relatively few dollars at any home improvement store. Easy to use once you
get the hang of it.

Also…you don’t need a 'marine' faucet. What you need is a faucet from Home
Depot or Lowe’s that has a single handle so you are not wasting water
finding the right temperature. You may need to slightly resize the hole a
little bigger, this is easily done with a cordless drill and a grinding
stone.

This was one of the very first upgrades we did on Hull #514, I think it
took me more time to make three trips to the home improvement store than to
actually do the upgrade. If you plan ahead on getting the right adapters
to adapt the new faucet fittings to the whale tubing you can probably cut
those back and forth trips out of the equation.

Good Luck
