[C320-list] Routing depth transducer cable

Hi Stephen:

Actually, the face on the transducer is so old and damaged from hull scraping, etc., that it gets confused between silt in the water and the bottom.

Going into Boot Key Harbor in Marathon last spring, I read 0-2 feet all the way as powerboats and wind stirred up the bottom. Elsewhere, it would show me randomly bottoming out in shallow channels when I actually had four or five feet under the keel.

Is it set to show depth under the keel rather than the true water depth?

Just a thought,
