With this type of forum, do new posts show up in everyone's inbox, or
do you have to go to the website to see them?

This took me 20 minutes - of course there is no content at the moment but the ba
sic structure is there, easily modified

I should stress that this is not supposed to be a useable list, and nobody shoul
d post any genuine enquiries there, but you might like to register and play arou
nd putting synthetic posts up there to see if it's a style that is worth pursui
ng.

It would be a fair bit of work, but not impossible, to transfer the content of t
he current discussion list into these headings.

Whoa.

When I originally asked whether anyone else was having probs getting list
emails, I was just trying to see if it was something with my setup. I
guess it was not just my system.

Dave P has been involved with maintaining the list for many years; not
knowing much about lists I am thankful he has done so. One reason I still
own my 320 is due to the amazing resource this list is.

Seems like the continuing changes to modern communication in general will
make this even more challenging moving forward. One fear I have is that
the list will slowly fall apart for whatever reason (technical challenges,
too much volunteer time involved, Facebook pilfering, etc). Not with a
bang but a whimper.

Does anyone have an idea on how much it would cost to have the list
professionally maintained? Could this be added to our annual dues?
