[C320-list] Disabling leaky water heater

Ferris,  on my boat the AC hot water heater button on the left side 120V panel is a 'push on / push off' circuit breaker installed by the manufacturer, Catalina Yachts.

Electric heater Circuit Breaker with threaded neck push to release is 120V
Electric heater Circuit Breaker - 15A    45-700-IG1-S10-DD 4227   E-T-A 250V AC 28V DC

Yes, it’s definitely a fresh water leak and sadly not from any of the external fittings. Thx for confirming that I can leave the coolant loop in the empty heater for a while. I like the idea of changing the coolant hoses and clamps when replacing the heater, I’ll do that.

One thing that struck me as odd: the heater was on whenever I had the AC power on. There is only a “reset” button on the panel. Can I simply replace that with a 15amp breaker so I can turn the heater on/off explicitly? I don’t really want hot water maintained  if I’m away for weeks at a time.
