[C320-list] Garhauer Davits Installation Height

Rich,
I installed Garhauer davits 3 years ago. Though I went with 1 1/4" davits,
mine were for mounting solar panels. I went for 1 1/4" tubes should a
future owner ever desire to tow a dinghy. I have never hauled a dingy, so
I can't directly answer your question. Since I'm on a 1994 #130 I don't
have the seats in my transom, and only had the vertical option for the base
plate mounts. If you would like to see pics of my install, I have them on
a public instagram account.

The mounting: https://www.instagram.com/p/B1tXsSYAnMQ/

Another pic when I buffed the transom that gives another clear image of my
mounting: https://www.instagram.com/p/CO5O9ryr6Vw/

For both series of pics, just incase you are not familiar with IG, ensure
you click the smaller circle arrow on the pic to see the complete series on
the pics. I am happy to answer any questions, but unsure how a dingy would
affect. My davits from Garhaur were custom, as I went for taller arms so I
could mount my panels high enough that I could walk through my transom.
