[C320-list] Cockpit lights

Aaron, I picked up these exact lanterns about 6 years ago, mine are still
going strong. My only complaint is how blinding white the LED's are on
this. I lose all my night vision when in use.

I modified mine, and have been VERY happy with the result. Blick art
supply sells translucent film sheets in several colors. I bought red
sheets. I was able to open the lanterns up very easily, cut the red film
to the size of the lantern canister internally, and scotch taped the ends
of the film to make a cylinder that was a perfect fit to the inside of the
lamp canister. I bought a 4 pack of the lanterns, and only left one white
light, the other 3 have the red film in them. And now I no longer lose
night vision when in use.
