C320 Shipmates- Because the forward shrouds interfere, I'm considering attaching the whisker pole to the rail rather than the mast ring for downwind legs of our Wed. nite races. I have two heavy stainless pad eyes and think they can be thru-bolted to the bulwarks facing outboard. Any thoughts, suggestions or concerns? Bill McCDIVERSION, #714
